I've received all of your entries for the second round, which will be displayed here meanwhile the judging takes place.

Sadly, there has been a forfeit. Because of his particular situation "devIvanps: wasn't able to submit his entry. This means ~Mistiqarts enters the finals by default.

Still, all three entries more than mesmerized me. A great deal of effort put to all of them. So, without further delay, let the judging commence.












Welcome duelers, to the hardest of all challenges: The Underworld. What is the Underworld, you ask? A collective nightmare, more or less, nothing too personal, but the shared horrors of all humanity, made concrete by means that are unexplainable. Once you enter everything becomes transfigured. The sky, trees and clouds are completely unrecognizable. And the creatures... We'll talk about the creatures later.

Eight of you made it. Congratulations. But be prepared.
In the Underworld dangers are vicious, terror can lye waiting behind every distorted piece of stone. And even though you can't die, this constant horrors could make even the strongest willed warriors totally loose their minds.

You'll be matched against each other.
As a dueler you'll have two choices.
If you're greedy, if you want all the prize for yourself, during your entry eliminate the competition. Remember, you're not on SDL. You're alone. Slaughter your opponents and watch them disintegrate from the underworld realm, as they go back to reality.

If you're more pacific, ally your opponent. Show us as you team up and defend yourself from the disturbing creatures that lye around. Show us a battle, on which horror and despair is beaten by cooperation. Surprise us.

If you choose to team up with the character you were matched up with, and if you're entry is selected as a winner, that character will be part of your team for as long as you wish. Battle by his side on future entries, make him sacrifice himself to save your life, or make him accompany you 'till the very end.

In future rounds, if you or your team are matched up against another's team, the duel will have to correctly portray all the characters that belong to each team in a coherent fashion. Complicated, you say? Then just slash everybody and claim the fortune for yourself! Muahahaha!












They lye around. They attack. And they're not the only ones.
Be free to invent your own creatures or use the ones that follow. They're your character's worst nightmares. Make them come true.



Imp:
They're weak, but they come in numbers. Massive numbers. Usually an army of this fellows will fly around and summon havoc. They use anything they can as weapons. Branches, rocks, or even bows and swords.



Tragortus:
Heavy, but not as slow as it looks. A carnivore of massive proportions whose mandibles react as fast as a crocodile's, and that is easily taunted. To kill one of these you'd need an army.
Better to avoid them.



Blood Squid:
Feeling thirsty in the Underworld? Watch out for this blood suckers. They hide underwater, and wait patiently for a victim they can adhere to, and suck them dry. Viscous and sticky, and their screech is terrifying.



Spider:
Awfully poisonous. A single bite of this creature would paralyze an adult human instantly, leaving him conscious, but totally vulnerable. They're the size of a human's head, which they mimic in form to cause even more horror as they approach.



Vampire:
The most intelligent of all Underworld creatures. It can plot, and execute complex plans if needed. To find and kill anyone that doesn't belong to the Underworld, that's its purpose. It can fly, and its strength and speeds are unbelievable. It can also command other Underworld creatures.


Remember. The creatures can't really kill you, as you're not from their realm. But your mind makes the pain and horror completely real, up to the point where you die. Careful, you don't want to go nuts.
